Pedro Isaias PhD is an associate profesor in Universidade Aberta, Portugal, was an associate professor at the Information Systems & Technology Management School of The University of New South Wales (UNSW – Sydney), Australia (2018-2023). Previously he was an associate professor at The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Before moving to Australia, he served at the Universidade Aberta (Portuguese Open University) in Lisbon, Portugal, where he was responsible for several courses and director of the master degree program in Management / MBA. Pedro was director of the master degree program in Electronic Commerce and Internet for 10 years. Pedro Isaias holds a PhD in Information Management (in the specialty of information and decision systems) from the NOVA University of Lisbon. Author of several books, book chapters, papers and research reports, all in the information systems area, he has headed several conferences and workshops within the mentioned area. He has also been responsible for the scientific coordination of several EU funded research projects. He is also member of the editorial board of several journals and program committee member of several conferences and workshops. Currently he conducts research activity related to MIS in general, and more specifically Learning Technologies, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, e-Business and WWW related areas.

Theo Hug, Dr. phil., is professor of educational sciences at the Department of Media, Society and Communication at the University of Innsbruck and coordinator of the Innsbruck Media Studies research group. His areas of interest include media education and media literacy, e-education and microlearning, theory of knowledge, methodology and philosophy of science. He is particularly interested in interfaces of medialization and knowledge dynamics as well as learning processes. Some of his recent work is focussing on instant knowledge, bricolage and didactics of microlearning.

Maria Barbas Patos Professor. She is a full professor at ESE-IPS and an invited associated professor with tenure at the Universidade Aberta (UAb). She’s also a member of the „Didactics and Technology in Education of Trainers” research centre and a collaborative member of the Information and Society Department at FCT. She has a PHD Degree in Communication and Education Multimedia at Uab, a Pós-Doctorate by Universidade de Aveiro (UA) and a Tenure in Education with a speciality in eLearning by the UAb. – Expert in Ethics (all issues) and eSkills ambassador for jobs (2015-2016). Coordinator of the European Project KA2 “#TV T21 COMmunity# e-Skills, social inclusion and employability (intercultural dialogue in tourism)”. 2014, European Cooperation Scientific and Technical Research (e_COST) was nominated by the FCT as a member of Portugal (Management Committee) in the action TD1309 Play for Children with Disabilities (LUDI) and in the action, IC1208 Integrating devices and materials: a challenge for new instrumentation in ICT; – Invited Member of editorial writing at Symposia and International Magazine;
– Direction of publications, reviewer of articles, editorials collections and magazines; Pedro Matos is an invited lecturer at ESES and he holds an MsC in Education and Communication Multimedia (Scientific Areas: Educational Technologies) by Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarem. Over the past few years, he has played several roles, such as trainer in the area of Photography, Project Development, Entrepreneurship, Graphic Edition and Multimedia for graduates, high school teacher; VET teacher and lecturing in the first cycle (bachelor).

Degree in theology and education in Graz (Magister artium) and Salzburg (PhD). Working as a teacher of education sciences and religious education at the Kirchliche Pädagogische Hochschule in Graz (KPH Graz). Author and editor of numerous works in religious education and didactic for various types of schools and education software.
